Insight Capacity delivers telehealth-based Occupational Therapy assessments focused on functional reporting for the NDIS. Services are designed to support planning, reviews, and access decisions by clearly outlining how disability impacts daily life, independence, and participation. All work is assessment- and report-based, with no ongoing therapy component.

Assessments are completed entirely via secure telehealth, allowing services to be accessed Australia-wide without travel or location barriers. Telehealth sessions are structured and interactive, enabling detailed exploration of functional performance through guided interview, task discussion, and contextual analysis within the participant’s own environment.

Insight Capacity completes Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) and specialist NDIS reports, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Independent Living Options (ILO), and NDIS Access Request evidence. Each report provides a clear breakdown of functional strengths, support requirements, and risks, with recommendations tailored to the purpose of the request.

Assessments are completed using an Occupational Therapy lens grounded in functional performance rather than diagnosis alone. Where appropriate, standardised assessment tools and collateral documentation are incorporated to strengthen analysis. Findings are translated into practical language that clearly links functional impact to recommended supports.

Referrals are accepted for adolescents and adults with physical, neurological, cognitive, and psychosocial disabilities who require formal assessment or written evidence for NDIS-related decisions. Insight Capacity works with participants directly, as well as families, support coordinators, and other professionals involved in the planning process.

Participant information is managed confidentially using Halaxy practice management software, with all records stored securely in accordance with Australian privacy requirements. Completed reports are provided in PDF format and shared only with authorised parties following consent.
